Ingredients
- Green or red peppers 4 (approximately 800 g)
- Lean minced beef 400 g
- Onion, chopped ½
- Egg 1
- Butter chopped into small pieces 30 g
- Breadcrumbs 1 ½ tablespoons
- Milk or water 4 tablespoons
- Salt -
- Pepper -
- Curry powder -
- Thyme -
- Aromatic herbs -
- Tomato juice or water 2-3 tablespoons
Steps
1. Cut the peppers in half horizontally. Remove the white pith and seeds.
2. Combine the beef, onion, egg, breadcrumbs, milk or water, salt, pepper, curry powder, thyme and (fresh or dried) aromatic herbs and stir until all of the ingredients have mixed well.
3. Stuff the peppers with the mixture and arrange them on a greased microwaveable dish. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs and diced butter on top. Pour the water or tomato juice around the peppers, onto the base of the dish.
4. Place the dish on the turntable and cook using the combined grill and microwave function at 350W for 15-18 minutes. Serve.
